You need to take a leap of faith, back yourself and do the unthinkable. Do it without the dependency on budgets.

Intrapreneurship for me is:

Creating positive change FOR the organisation WITHIN the organisation. It means you proactively try to find the sweet spot where societal, organisational, and individual objectives are aligned.

Describe yourself in three words:

Curious, Fun, and Determined.

What are the top challenges for your organisation today:

  • Trying to do the right thing and reconnect to its purpose
  • Perceived lack of trust and connection with the community
  • Disruption from technology
  • Engagement of employees as the workforce shifts

On key Intrapreneurial capability and learnings:

  • Navigating the system – Need to be very strategic about working top-down, bottom-up & even bringing externals on the journey.
  • Connecting with purpose: “That’s what make us human”.
  • Being a ‘Super-connector: inside and outside the organisation.

Advice to other Intrapreneurs:

You really need to understand the rules of your organisation so you can know when and how to push the boundaries. I can’t stress enough how important is to have the support of a senior sponsor to give you air cover.

Intrapreneurship for me is:

The individuals that have a clear vision and transcends the project they work on..
They connect at a personal level & can see far beyond others.. To the point that you want to join them in their journey! As opposed to just great thinkers, they also achieve results.

Describe yourself in three words:

Passionate, Opinionated and Curious.

What are the top challenges for your organisation today:

  1. Implementation and execution of our great ideas and intentions,
  2. New ways of working as we transition from the public the private sector, i.e. implementing the change we need.

On key Intrapreneurial capability and learnings:

  • Navigating the system – or better said, ‘influencing for outcomes’ whilst also building a community; working towards the same purpose even when having different KPIs
  • Smarter ways of unlocking resources - "who said resources need to be within the organisation?"

Advice to other Intrapreneurs:

Do not just think about it ... do it! No matter how small, do the 1% you can do today – that will set you up in the future!
